How to add caption to images

Navigate to WP admin → Media, then click on the image thumb, the image model will appear as the following image, that for already existing images.

Or when you upload an image, you’ll see a number of options to the right side of the media uploader.

Next, on the right side of the page, there is a  Caption field, where you can enter a caption to display below your image.
