Register Instagram App and add it to Arqam counter

Register a new Instagram App

Step 1 Make sure you are logged into Instagram.com and then visit  http://instagram.com/developer. and click on Manage Clients link.

Step 2 If this is the first time you are adding an app or plugin, Instagram will ask you a few questions. You can enter these responses.

  1. Your Website URL.
  2. Your Phone Number.
  3. What do you want to build with the API -  something like "A plugin for my WordPress website".
  4. Check I accept the API terms of use and brand guidelines.
  5. Click on Sign-up button.

Step 3 After finishing the Developer Signup step, Click on Manage Clients again and click on Register a New Client button.

Step 4 Fill in the “Register new Client ID” form with the following information

Valid redirect URLs - to get the URL navigate to WP admin → Arqam Lite → Instagram box and click on 

Copy the redirect URL from the browser address bar 

Then go back to Register New Client ID in step 4 and click on Register button.

Step 5 Click on Manage button

Step 6 Copy the Client ID and Client Secret

Step 1 Make sure you install Arqam or Arqam Lite.

Step 2 Navigate to WP admin → Arqam Lite → Instagram box. and click on Get Access Token button

The Instagram App info page will be opened

From Step 6, Copy the Client ID and Client Secret and paste them here ↑
