How To Create A Mega Menu
NOTE: Only the Main Nav Menu supports this feature.
Jannah has a built-in mega menu that can be enabled on every First Level menu item in the Appearance > Menus tab. Please see below for information on how to set the mega menu up. If you need information on how to create a regular menu, please read our Setting Up The Menu article here.
1. Multi Columns Mega Menu
- Navigate to Appearance > Menus section of your admin sidebar and select the ‘Create A New Menu’ link to create a new menu, or edit a current one.
- Only First Level items can enable the Mega Menu. Click the Arrow icon next to any First Level menu item to expand the Options box.
- Select Mega Menu Columns from the Enable The Mega Menu? select menu.
- From the Number of Mega Menu Columns select menu, choose the number of columns you want.
-
Now, you need to add child menu items, which will represent columns in the mega menu. The first level of child items will represent Titles in each of 3 columns. Add 3 sub child menu items, like in the image below.
-
Add child items to each of those columns. This will represent your actual sub-menu pages. Take a look at the image below.
-
The menu dropdown should now look something like this: If you want to Remove the Titles (First Column, Second Column Third Column) Go to the Mega menu setting and check Hide Mega Menu headings? option.
The menu dropdown should now look something like this:
