Archives Settings
Below is the settings of archives pages, Category, Tag, Author, and Search.
- Global Archives
- Disable Author name meta: disable the author name meta from displaying in all archives pages (category, tag, author,..), the author name is displayed be the default.
- Disable Comment number meta: disable the comment number meta from displaying in all archives pages, the comment number is displayed be the default.
- Disable Views number meta: disable the views number meta from displaying in all archives pages, the views number is displayed be the default.
- Default layout settings - Control the default layout of date archives and default home layout.
- Layout - Choose one from the available seven layouts.
- Excerpt Length - the number of words/characters based on Trim Text Settings, find it in Theme Options > General > Trim Text Settings.
- Pagination - Jannah offers four different paginations for archives pages:
- Next and Previous
- Numberic
- Load More
- Infinite Scroll
- Next and Previous
- Category Page Settings - Control the default layout of the category page with the same settings of Default layout settings. Also, you can control each category layout from the category edit page Wordpress Admin > Posts > Categories > click on the category name.
- Tage Page Settings - Controls the layout of the Tag Page with the same settings of Default layout settings.
- Author Page Settings - Controls the layout of the Author Page with the same settings of Default layout settings.
- Search Page Settings - Controls the layout of the Search Page with the same settings of Default layout settings plus:
- Search in Category IDs - Use minus sign (-) to exclude categories. Example: (1,4,-7) = search only in Category 1 & 4, and exclude Category 7.
- Exclude post types from search - Multiple select post types to exclude them from search.
